The previous home to Falls Park Golf & Games and the short-lived miniature train museum is getting a new lease on life as a high tech serve-yourself taproom. Pour, which has a location in Asheville is a new model for consuming beer. You’re given a bracelet which uses RFID to communicate with the taps. You buy beer by the ounce – walk up to a tap. scan your bracelet and the beer flows. Your ounces are tabulated in the computer and you pay for what you drink, allowing you to sample small amounts of lots of different beers. It’s kind of like yogurt mountain for beer. The location is prime real estate, situated across the street from falls park, along a street with probably the highest density of new, concurrent construction projects going on anywhere in greenville (nearly everything on that side of the street is being renovated)
