Back in November, Bon Thai quietly changed hands to a new owner who kept the name, but updated the interior and dramatically refreshed the menu. According to owner Coua Xiong-Vang:
“Bon Thai has been serving Thai cuisine for the Greenville community for the past 10 years, so I kept many Thai entrees but added Vietnamese and Japanese. The interesting thing about my culture is that, we are a minority group that lives in lower China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. So my cooking is a blend of those countries, all offered at Bon Thai.”
If you’re shopping on woodruff road and looking for something different to eat, or a delicious cocktail, Bon Thai is a must try.
The Mayor and City Council will be at Bon Thai on March 1st, 2017 for their Official Grand Opening, but they’re open now Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for lunch and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for dinner (10:00 p.m. on Friday), from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Noon – 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.
