A new application filed with the city’s Urban Design Panel shows the plan for a mixed-use development along Academy Street, where the current AGFA building stands now.  The plans incorporate the existing building and utilize the space around that structure to add apartments, office space, retail space and potentially a hotel.

The Application for a Certificate of Appropriateness indicates the additional structures will house approximately 320 mult-family apartment or condominium units, 45,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of retail space, and a hotel with approximately 125 rooms. Architectural review of the the specific building elements will be submitted at a later date as the individual buildings progress.

The Application was submitted by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture. You can download the Full Application here for review here.
