Split Creek is a farm located about 40 minutes from Greenville that specializes in Goat Dairy products like Milk, Cheese, Fudge and Yogurt. It’s open to the public year-round. They have around 400 goats, and new babies are born each year. They strive to be self-sufficient, starting with three goats and a small parcel of land. At their peak, they had 750 goats on premises.

In addition to goats, they also have a variety of pigs, chickens, ducks, a horse, donkey, and several cats and dogs. It’s a great place to take your kids to see and pet the animals – many of them roam freely around the farm and they’re all friendly and used to people.

The farm has a small shop where you can pickup fresh milk, yogurt, cheese and other products produced on site. It’s also makes a great place to take kids on a field trip. You can also purchase some of their products on their website or by phone and have them shipped.

The staff is very friendly and more than happy to tell you all about the goats. Farm manager Jessica Bell can even tell you the names of all the goats and other resident animals on the farm!
