We’ve all been there. You’re out having drinks with friends, having a great time, feeling like a million bucks, and then you wake up the next morning with a throbbing headache. The internet is full of “Hangover” cures, but most just mask the symptoms.

We couldn’t find anything in terms of a website or any social media for Revived Aesthetics, so we took at a look at Vida Flo’s website, an IV bar in Charleston for some benefits of IV Therapy.

IV Therapy is for more than just hangovers – although we think that’s probably a big market for them, as a lot of people would pay big bucks to make their hangover go away.

IV Therapy is also good for

  • Cold, Flu & Stomach Bug
  • Athletic Overexertion or Burnout
  • Migraines or Severe Headaches
  • Health and Beauty
  • Fatigue or Jetlag

So how does it work? It’s a common saline IV solution like you’d receive in the hospital, which helps to rehydrate you, with some electrolytes, calcium and lactate, and possibly some other vitamins and minerals added. Basically, they’re quickly replacing water and other vitamins, minerals and electrolytes you’ve lost from your hangover, workout, or illness.

No word on pricing, but Vida Flo in Charleston charges $50 for a 30 minute IV Hydration Treatment.
